How can I say this so it sounds more professional: (this is for my Cover Letter)?
As a previous employee working as a secretary with XYZ, I have had the chance to utilize my knowledge of basic computer programs including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint. I have also had to administer the use of working with various search engines, organization of files, typing letters, faxing, e-mailing and setting up appointments with clienteles.
More words are not always better.
During my employment as a secretary at XYZ, I utilized Microsoft Word( what year?) Excel (what year?) and Powerpoint (what year?), as well as other programs. My job duties included but were not limited to file organization, appointment setting, and business communications,
Search engines, faxing, emailing, and typing are all very basic skills that fall under the umbrella of “business communications.”
