What happens when a partition the hard drive is erased?
I have Windows 2000 and a program that I can not reinstall runs in 5 GB C: drive, and I like to include the C: drive with 32 GB partition D: drive, so the program can use the space. If I delete the partition: D Management of the computer, what happens to space? "They combine with the C: drive, or just float around useless?
If you delete the D drive, will become the unpartitioned space …. which means you lose all your data inside … and this does not mean you can combine with the C drive … will only free space and do not mean anything … The best way, as the guy said above, is to use Norton Partition Magic … he is able to combine several units together …
