iTunes does not work on my computer. there is another program that can load songs onto my iPod?

I have an iPod nano (Second Generation) and I just want music, I really do not care about the images. Even if you know a site that has a program for iPod Mini, if Please tell me coz it could have a nano now. Please reply if you know, I can get my iPod to work.
