Suggestions?
My son just turned 5 years and Sal will be in kindergarten next year. It was an early riser: talking, walking, jogging, etc at very young ages. I would suggest getting the test. I know it's something scary, not who is on the list of 10 things you want to do, but this is not a thing you want to push. I've "been there done that" with this kind of thing with my oldest son and I put it on kindergarten until they started doing the test.
