Is it difficult to learn Adobe Creative Suite 4?
specifically focused on InDesign, but all programs. I want to buy the premium Design. My parents have a small publication, when designing ads. I want to buy the program for them and learn that to help them, and my mother can not learn it well. I am a 17 year old is very good with computers. My mother is not very good with technology, but it is good in designing ads. I do not want to spend all that money, be a child with a part-time work, and not be able to learn. What's this? How difficult would it be? Please answer, especially if they have experience in Adobe products.
It is not difficult. If you good with computers and are dedicated, you can get very good at InDesign in a few months. Read a library book or watching tutorials around Online. Find a print ad to be copied and then try to create it from scratch. Start with a simple and work your way to more complex things with complex colors / gradients and multiple fonts only. I took a college class, three hours of credit taught me everything I need to know. It is however very expensive. If you want a cheaper solution, there are programs out there that are easier to learn. They are not as powerful as InDesign, but almost nobody uses all the features of Adobe's included. If you use a Mac, try download Pixelmator, VectorDesigner, and pages (part of iWork). To replace Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
