Where can I find and / or buy royalty free clip art for use in an educational software?
Art Collections popular videos (as clipart and more than 3.5 million) sold at Amazon prohibit the use of their images in the software. I develop an educational program that lots use of images. Is there a cost effective way to acquire the images I need? Thank you in advance for your answers.
It depends on what type of images you need. Places like alamy.com have royalty-free images, but you can pay a few hundred dollars for rights of each image. Places like http://www.fromoldbooks.org/ has many images of public domain before (and some are protected by copyright, beware!) And there are many lists sources of free clip art floating around.
