advantages, disadvantages, working conditions, hours worked, salary levels, entry, field entrance exam (hard to find a job)? Like many jobs, the advantages and disadvantages of being a computer programmer varies according to which company you work for, the type of work projects and its own personality and work habits. The field of program tends to attract a large number of types of analysis introverted (read: nerds – it's a compliment not an insult:)) who love the feeling of creativity (he is a good thing to see a program to meet), as very analytical side to him and enjoy the fact that – for many professional jobs – Going to work by their own and not "to deal with people.") Pay the entry (assuming you have decent grades and a diploma) is very different the company, the location and type of work, but 50 to 60 years is probably typical. Many jobs offer programming good oppurtunities to move up (to including management) or to move and not consult its own. The nature of work, it is fairly easy to work from home (if your company culture allows it). The downside? Well, one of the larger scale is now the outsourcing of jobs abroad programs. This reduced the number of planning tasks and security Underminded those who remain. The hours can often be erratic. Software projects are more difficult to estimate and what is often frenetic 60-70 hours per week before the longer term (called "Death March"). Finally, technology is evolving so quickly that you are constantly learn and take classes to stay competitive. Half of what you learn, will probably be obsolete in less than two years. It's a little good, when things are not boring and you always have this feeling of movement and be in the "advanced", but really weak in the development of expertise with a specific tool, language or system, a new version and you must start from the beginning as an intern just to walk through the door.
