How do I check the memory is the degree of freedom on my computer at some point?
I have difficulty opening emails electronic moving images in them (the video clips is the name?) Whenever I open them I get a message saying my computer screen is little memory, and should close programs. But this happens when the bar at the bottom of the screen to display only name e-mail Yahoo. My computer has 512 MB of memory, and I have nothing strange about that – that word processing programs standard, and Spyware Doctor, anti-virus, firewall, etc. before. Can anyone explain why I get "memory low" message, even video clips that I successfully opened? And I wonder how I can check the amount of memory used, and how much is free, at any time. It would also useful if someone could explain how to obtain a list of programs that are open or running in the background, at some point in the time. This problem has me confused? An intelligent person can know the answers to my questions. Thank you!
For Windows XP: Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete simultaneously to display the Task Manager and click the Performance tab. Figure bottom right will tell you how much memory is free. The other tabs also let you see what they are running and help you manage it.
