computer engineering and computer?
I am undecided on my major. What are the main differences between computer science and engineering computer? What is harder? What will make me more money in the future? I want to get a job at Intel. I am ready to defend a Master or a PhD, so I'd better make money in this high of a title? I like to program a little more circuits and other things, but I work is less boring, and I work for more money? also, what is a good school for these classes? I do not want to go to Stanford, that to pay $ 32,000 per year tuition. How is BYU and the University of Utah? Thank you
Informatics is the study of computers more studies department software development and theory. Computer Engineering is also a study of computers, but with more focus on service aspects of the materials. Although the two main differences, no one is better than another because Both are dependent on each other (can not be without hardware and software can not control the hardware without software required). A PhD will pay higher than a master, but honestly its all about the experience. Even if you get a PhD, if you do not experience meaningful work, your chances of finding a job is always very difficult, especially in computer science / engineering. Instead of asking can make more money, ask yourself this: What do you like more? Software or hardware? Money can not buy happiness. So I work is less boring: There will be times when you Bored (both fields), but if you miss a lot, then you're in the wrong field of study. For the school: Choose School which is good for you. No person may recommend that the school is good for a diploma in Computer Science / except you. I wish good luck in your search university.
