What is the best program to learn CGI animation?
Are there any of these good for me to start? Amorphium, Art of Illusion, Poser, Ray Dream Studio, Bryce, Maya, Blender, TrueSpace, Lightwave, 3D Studio Max, Softimage XSI, Alice, and Adobe Flash. I am not aware of the animation, but plan to study at university and I am very good with computers and love to draw. I really want to get a head start in learning computer animation though. * Note: I am a Windows user.
For CGI, I think your talking about the 3D animation used in many films and video games. Flash does not display 3D images, Maya is a good program for that, the only other program I heard of your list is 3D Studio Max, but I've used before.
