Do you think the schools of origin (as well as medium and high) should learn computer programming.?
I one of the sponsors of RobotBASIC (a programming language available FREE RobotBASIC.com. I wonder if people think that schools of origin (or between both, including schools and more standard) should teach computer programming (at an appropriate level of course) to promote logical thinking and problem solving skills. I think that programming is fast becoming a basic reading, writing and arithmetic.
I think it a great idea. I was one of the few students who have taken a programming course my senior year in high school (10 years), and I was programming since. It is a useful skill for any potential scientist or engineer, or many other areas.
